ENDE Corporation has not remained indifferent and consistently participates in the country’s most important fair, in this case, Fexpo Cruz 2024. We are participating to showcase what a national strategic company does across the entire country, particularly with new electricity generation projects, mainly focused on the energy transition.
This statement was made by Manuel Valle Vargas, President of ENDE Corporation, during his participation in Fexpo Cruz 2024. He added that the company is keen to emphasize the shift from fossil fuel-based electricity production to renewable energy generation, with several successful projects already underway.
“…the authority expects Bolivia’s photovoltaic solar market to grow at a compound annual rate of over 11% during the 2024 to 2029 period.”

“In this regard, we are showcasing hydroelectric generation projects, such as the Ivirizu hydroelectric plant, a very important and emblematic project,” Valle said, emphasizing that this plant is being completed this year. Additionally, they are developing wind energy and photovoltaic projects, which will complement renewable energy production throughout the National Interconnected System (SIN).
Moreover, the authority expects Bolivia’s photovoltaic solar market to grow at a compound annual rate of over 11% during the 2024-2029 period. He asserts that the main drivers of this market include supportive government policies, the growing demand for renewable energy, efforts to reduce GHG emissions, and the decreasing cost of photovoltaic solar systems.
In his view, these government efforts not only help meet the increasing demand for energy with solar power but also make it possible to gradually replace and eliminate fossil fuels in Bolivia. He states that the rising energy demand, driven by population growth and increasing industrialization, will significantly boost the photovoltaic solar market in Bolivia.
