Toyota, a global leader in automobile production and sales, has established itself as a benchmark Japanese multinational in the automotive industry. In Bolivia, its official representative, TOYOSA, operates under the principles of the Toyota Production System (TPS), an approach that optimizes every process to ensure products of the highest quality at efficient costs. This success is possible thanks to the commitment and professionalism of its team and human talent.

With nearly 44 years of presence in Bolivia, TOYOSA has built its growth on solid foundations and a vision of continuous improvement (Kaizen). In recognition of its outstanding organizational management, the company was certified last Tuesday, March 25, in Santa Cruz de la Sierra as a “Leading Employer” by Human Value. This acknowledgment highlights its excellence in Trust, Collaboration, and Commitment indexes, reflecting its exceptional work climate and the value of its team.

THREE PILLARS

The pillars of TOYOSA that enable this certification are:

• Trust: TOYOSA fosters an environment where employees trust their leaders and strategic decision-making. Mutual security and support within each team facilitate the efficient fulfillment of responsibilities, aligning efforts with the company’s objectives.

• Collaboration: TOYOSA’s organizational culture is based on teamwork. Camaraderie and integration among employees strengthen the work environment, boosting productivity and well-being in a cooperative and supportive setting.

• Commitment: One of TOYOSA’s fundamental pillars is the sense of belonging of its employees. The pride in being part of the company translates into constant motivation to achieve excellence and contribute to the organization’s sustainable growth.

“…in Bolivia, as in the rest of the world, Toyota fundamentally bases all its operations on the Toyota Production System (TPS), a philosophy aimed at optimizing all processes…”

Executives of this important company stated that this recognition reaffirms TOYOSA’s leadership as a benchmark in the business sector and its commitment to the professional development of its team, consolidating its position as one of the best companies to work for in Bolivia.

MORE ABOUT TOYOSA

TOYOSA S.A. is the representative in Bolivia of Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC), the leading Japanese multinational in automobile production and sales, renowned for its success and respected for quality and clearly established processes.

The company continues to progress in response to market expansion and needs, diversifying its products to include various brands such as Hino trucks, Lexus luxury automotive line, Volvo heavy machinery, Kubota agricultural machinery, Toyota forklifts, Bridgestone tires, the launch of Yamaha motorcycles, and Unic cranes, which represent an engineering innovation.

TOYOSA AND REPSOL

TOYOSA has signed an agreement with the Spanish multinational oil company Repsol, allowing it to distribute lubricants throughout the Bolivian market. Company executives note that the product is environmentally friendly, which is why it does not pollute. “The oils were specially developed for heavy transport, agriculture, and industry motor vehicles, as well as motorcycles and light vehicles, offering a portfolio of over a thousand products with American, European, and Asian certifications,” their website states.

It also notes that in Bolivia, as worldwide, Toyota fundamentally bases all its operations on the Toyota Production System (TPS), a philosophy aimed at optimizing all production processes to achieve products of the highest quality at the lowest cost.

This system has been defined as a methodology and philosophy of excellence and continuous improvement (kaizen), aimed at eliminating waste and activities that do not add value to the manufacturing, distribution, and commercialization processes of products and/or services, increasing the value of each performed activity and removing unnecessary subprocesses. This enables companies to reduce costs, improve processes, eliminate waste, increase customer satisfaction, and maintain profit margins.

For all these reasons, the company serves thousands of clients through 17 branches, 7 workshops, 2 pre-delivery workshops, and 2 dealerships dedicated to automobile sales, parts, and workshop services.
